It seems that if I hear or see a single word, seconds later I remember in exactly which song I heard it in. Like when I read the word "entwined" on a Tumblr page, it took about ten seconds before it popped into my head; it was the song "Vox" by Sarah McLachlan that I used to play hysterically about three years ago, but not since then. This has happened a lot lately.
My memory is suddenly improving and it amazes me beyond comprehension. And as I earlier tonight (before midnight) read on the best before date of something in my fridge, Anna asked me what date it was. I immediately answered "Wednesday the eleventh", cause I remembered talking to my contact person yesterday and he had mentioned it was Tuesday the tenth.
Like wow! What kind of sorcery is this? Maybe I'm jugging my brain cells a little more now that I'm writing, not just puking out whatever words comes to my mind, but really concentrate on what I'm writing. To describe a picture in my mind, create scenarios and most exhaustingly: improving my vocabulary. Cause it wound be a boring text to read if all it said in the conversations was "he said, I said, she said" or "I walked away, he stood there, she thought". It seems kind of... insipid? Instead of saying dull, or tedious, I mean. But sometimes it's hard with synonyms, cause they are always exactly the same. And I still make grammatical mistakes and have to look up really simple words because I just "forgot" it.
I'm a little obsessed with the welsh word "hiraeth."
I'm writing about writing again. I hate it when I do that! It's like photographing a photographer, drawing a picture of a drawing, or singing a song about singing. Why, I don't know, but it seems kind of... pointless. Like bragging or complaining, or seeking attention. Which I'm not, by the way. If I was seeking attention I would not write about "how good I am at writing" I would just publish the fucking the story or novel that I've written. Everywhere. And send it to five different publishers. Which I will, sort of, once it's actually written.
