I hate cyborgs, I realise. Not a phobia, but they really creep me out. Not sure what it is about them, but maybe it's their imperfection or something, when they start to malfunction or break. Maybe I'm scared that these things, (or people, not sure which) actually exist and I'll meet one. I know that technology hasn't gone that far yet, but there's also a lot of shit the scientists discover and don't make public. Anyways, I can watch movies portraying these, seemingly inanimate objects without too much difficulty. And I can't help that I sometimes like a good scare! Funny thing though, the first Terminator movie still gives me nightmares sometimes, and there's scenes in it I just can't watch. I think I was just too young the first time I saw it. Can't remember exactly how old I was, but I'm quite sure I was under ten. The reason I'm bringing this up now is that I just watched the Buffy the vampire slayer episode "Ted". Obviously about a cyborg. A psycho killer one, even. Spoiler perhaps, if you haven't seen it. But if you've seen any Buffy episodes, you know that when she gets a hunch something isn't good, she's usually right.
I went out in the rain at midnight for a walk and tried to find a really dark road, but failed. The street lights are killing my lovely darkness! And I didn't wanna walk too far in case I'd get lost, but I walked around in the neighborhood for almost an hour. It's quite big after all, little Hemse. I've noticed I have better night vision than the camera on my cell phone, even with the flash. How could the picture not show that the leaves were green and the roses were red when I could see that with my own very eyes without more than a street light 30 meters away? I was surprised it was as dark as it was considering it's July, the brightest month of the year. Though the storm clouds might have had something to do with that. Yeah, there was some thunder and lightning as well. Or at least lightning, I didn't hear any thunder. I wonder if there's a graveyard somewhere in this village?
