Ugh, I really have to shower today. I've been putting it off for too long. Again. But I have to go shopping and I don't wanna reek. Still listening to bollywood music. It's so lively. I like that. Even though I can't understand a word of the lyrics, since it's in Hindi.
I've reached level 69 with my blood elf priest now, soon level 70! How the hell did that happen? I was just level 30. Oh, well. The leveling continues. See if I reach 70 today. Probably will. I'm finally in Northrend now, and will soon make Dalaran my home city. I love that city. Not just because it's beautiful, but the name. The name! I almost got a heart attack first time I heard of that city. My homeland, "Dala" is actually short for "Dalarien". And for the unbelievers, I heard the name Dalarien looong before World of Warcraft, or even Warcraft I, was released.
I'm still drawing a lot. Black and white pictures with ink pens, filled in on graphite sketch lines. I cut my face again a few days ago, and the wound is acting weird and stings more than it should. I can't tell if it's a pimple right on it, or if it's infected. It's a tiny, tiny wound, so it shouldn't be such a big deal, right? Really gotta shower... and colour my hair, which I should do first. Sigh...
Damn I miss my crush. I miss him so much my heart aches. It's been three months since we met that first time in late October. Where are you? Can't you at least come back online?
I'm still in this zombie state since I woke up this morning. Maybe I overdosed my medication a little. Trying to restore the balance with caff pills and lemonade. Can't wait just one more day with the shopping, right? I have oatmeal, noodles and yoghurt at home. That should last me one more day, right? As long as I have cigarettes I really don't care much about the rest.
I'm trying to learn how to write beautifully with a quill and black ink on paper. It's frigging hard! I took a font inspired from Tolkien's books, but made up new capital letters. Writing a poem of 20 lines takes half an hour at least, and even though I'm super careful I end up making mistakes. But it looks quite nice except from the two or three sloppy spelling mistakes. The whole poem doesn't fit on one A5 format page though, and if I write it any smaller it will just be unreadable ink blots. It's tricky to navigate that pen, especially right after I've dipped it in the ink bottle.
"They claimed that suicide was the cause of death
and then they shook their heads
because they could not understand
why anyone would like to die that badly.
Little did they know that this person had been dead
for a very long time
and that suicide was just a way
to get rid of the waste
that was left
behind." - Josephin August.
I just found this on Tumblr. So strikingly beautiful. Anyways, I'm done with the typography for now. Finally got that poem down on an A4 sized paper instead, after I don't know how many trials and errors. It's still not perfect, but I think I'm getting a hang of it. Just need to let it dry now and then erase the graphite underneath the ink. Then I'll post a picture of the result.
